“ Second time coming here today and didn’t disappoint! We had the festive sandwich and the Yorkshire pudding wrap and boy weren’t they both delicious, hot drinks as well! Had a hot chocolate and I must say, I don’t normally like hot chocolate, but the VBC smashed it! This is a great place to bring friends and family or just go on a small date with your partner prior to a quick dog walk like we did! Dog friendly as well! We will be back again and highly recommend! ”

“ Very quaint with lots of 'quirky' things to look at ... hanging from the walls and ceiling. Lovely choice of sandwiches and hot/cold drinks ... The milkshakes looked rather splendid ! There were plenty of staff who were helpful ... We didn't have to wait too long to be seated, and our request to be moved to the outdoor seating area was quickly fulfilled. The order arrived pretty quickly, and the sandwiches were full and well presented. There was no pressure on us to vacate our table and the atmosphere was relaxing. Possibly a little bit pricey if you want a quick bite with a cuppa, but you can't fault the presentation and quality if you feel like a treat. We will definitely be returning. ”

“ What a lovely quaint cafe,it offers a wonderful service where your allocated a table and a menu to order off. There is outdoor seating under cover and indoor seating. If you have your dog with you outdoor seating is your only choice. If you have a car in the carpark then remember to give a member of staff you registration number. Staff are friendly and helpful. Disabled friendly. Toilets are clean. ”

“ A beautiful Mothers Day afternoon tea Booked monthsssss in advance as the afternoon tea here is very popular, and now I understand why. Absolutely everything served was incredible. So fresh, insane portions and delicious. One of those meals that won't be forgotten about anytime soon The service was not good, which was a shame, but the food made up for it. Also some music (for atmosphere) in the upstairs seating area wouldn't have gone a miss Visited in March 2024 ”
